Director James Cameron has just sold 703 acres of land in Puerco Canyon to the Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority - the largest privately-owned tract of land remaining in the Santa Monica Mountains in L.A. County. Should open up a bunch of new hiking in the area for all you westside trekkers.
